Oerjan Moy - Assignment #2: Will it be adopted?

ASSIGNMENT # 2: WILL THE TOILET – TOOTH BRUSH BE ADOPTED?

By Oerjan Moy

“This product is a toilet brush shaped ass a toothbrush. Many are tired of the same old toilet brush. Now you can make it more fun to wash your toilet, or you can come closer to your evil dream to brush the toilet with yours enemy toothbrush.” The toilet (tooth) brush is made from plastic and is 41 centimeter long and 5 centimeter wide.

I don’t think it will be adopted at a high scale. It seems that this product is more for fun, and not for the advantages that’s coming with it. Out from the pictures it seems difficult to wash under the toilet edge.

The Toilet Tooth brush has not relative advantages compared with the original toilet brush, beside to give the toilet guests a good laugh.

I think the compatibility is low. I don’t many have ever thought of to design a toilet brush into a toothbrush. I think many thinks it is to strange and not advantageous enough.

The adaptability: if this product never goes on to be a success it’s possible to try to sell it to different zoos with big animals like elephants, rhinos, alligators etc.

I have never tested this product, so I’m not sure of the result, but if the result is amazing, something I doubt the chances is bigger than more people want to adopt it.

My own suggestion to improvement that could lead to a higher adoption rate:

  • Longer brushes on the edge of the brushes such as it possible to get under the toilet edge.
  • Make an elastic “neck” to the brush. This will also help together with the longer brushes to get under the toilet edge.
  • Different colors will give the customer more choices to choose one brush that will match the customer’s bath. Now the toilet – toothbrush comes in green and black.
